[Seasonal dryads]

Stunning work. I love the way the sunlight hits the "hair" on the summar dryad. The interpretation of winter is very interesting to me; she's usually portrayed as cold (in both a literal and figurative sense), with winter often representing the end of life itself in image sets like these, but here she is portrayed as a lot kinder.

Yeah I wanted to give winter a different outlook. Sure, winter can be a cruel season, but it can also be beautiful. In this image, Winter is the oldest, but she still has fight in her. She is graceful, she is still beautiful. She knows where her spot in the world is, and is also filled with the confidence of knowing that.

So in an odd way, I wanted to show the good side of aging. Gaining confidence that comes from understanding yourself and the world. Filling yourself with wisdom that radiates beauty and kindness.

That outfit is such a blast from the past. I wonder why fanart of Shadow wearing it wasn't more common, he's really rocking it :p
